Cindy Radloff - Office Manager
Cindy has been our office manager since we opened in 1997. She has previously been a foster parent for the Hand Me Down Dobes, Doberman Pinscher rescue, and has helped out on several rescue situations in the past. She owns 3 dobermans, one of which is a champion show dog. She also owns 2 Pomeranians, one of which is also a champion show dog. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys landscaping, golfing, and rooting for her Ohio State Buckeyes on game days! She also enjoys going camping in her RV with her pack of dogs.
Melissa Pinel - Groomer
Melissa has worked for Advanced Boarding and Grooming since we opened in 1997. She started out working with animals at a vet clinic as a kennel technician. She then decided she wanted to further her animal career, and apprenticed under the owner, Jocelyn, to become a groomer. When Jocelyn opened Advanced Boarding and Grooming, she asked Melissa to join her business as a full-time groomer. She has been here ever since! Melissa has a soft spot for rescue animals, and has adopted all of the animals she owns from rescues, or has rescued them herself! She has also helped rescued animals find great, permanent homes. She currently owns a rescued miniature pinscher named Grendel, and two rescued cats named Punch and Maps. She also just adopted a mixed breed puppy from the pound that she named Mabel. She plans to certify Mabel as an AKC Canine Good Citizen, and possibly pursue therapy dog work with her. Melissa enjoys drawing, hiking with her dogs, and listening to music in her spare time.
Along with her many rescued animals, Melissa also shares her home with her husband, Jimmy, and their two sons - Tristan, who is 9 years old, and Lucien, who is 6 years old.
Michelle Oyer - Groomer
Michelle has been around animals her whole life. She began her career in the animal field as a bather and kennel technician at a Collie Breeding Kennel. She then took a position as a receptionist at a vet hospital. It was then she decided she wanted to become a pet groomer, she was already a licensed hair stylist for people! She began training at the vet hospital to become a pet groomer. After she completed her training she came to Advanced Boarding and Grooming as a full-time groomer back in 2004 and has been here ever since! She has previously been a foster mom to 2 different dobermans, both of which she ended up adopting. She currently has two dogs, a doberman she adopted from North Coast Doberman Rescue named Bristol, and a Whippet mix she adopted from Franklin county animal shelter named Rigsby. She also has two cats that were rescues as well.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys drawing, crafts, and camping with her dogs. In addition to her pets, she shares her home with her husband of 17 years, Larry, and her son, Michael, who is 8 years old.
Tiffany Dvorak - Dog Trainer
Tiffany received her bachelor's degree in
Business Administration in 2002 and has her CPT (certified professional
trainer) certificate. She is certified in basic and advanced
obedience, behavior modification, puppy development, scent detection, tracking, retrieval, personal
protection, and assistance dog training. In
addition, she is also a member of the National K9 Dog Trainers
Association and the International Association of Canine
Professionals. She is an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen
evaluator. She was an active member and volunteer of Hand Me Down Dobes
from 2002 to 2008 and is a current foster parent for the Delaware
Humane Society. She enjoys spending
time with her daughter, Tori, and cheering her on at her diving meets.
She owns two dogs: Maiden - a doberman pinscher, and Romeo - a
Havanese.
Maravon Wolford - Receptionist
Maravon has worked here for just over a year now. Before she came to us, she had previously worked as a kennel technician for a Pomeranian breeder. While working for the breeder, she developed a passion for animals, and decided to pursue a career in the animal field. That is when she accepted a position with us as a receptionist. Maravon's upbeat, personable, and friendly personality will greet you with a smile every time you enter our facility. She is known for bringing up dogs that are staying with us for a long time to hang out with her behind the desk for a little extra TLC. She is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needs it. Maravon enjoys spending time with her children, and babysitting her nieces. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly at the beach, and getting together with friends.
Maravon shares her home with her fiance, Phillip, and their two children Toni Marie, and Phillip. She also owns two pitbulls named Max and Sky.
